Students drawn to campus for weekend ag technology competition
UWRF freshman Nicolette Broeske awards first through fifth place for the longest ear of corn during the Agricultural Technology Contest held on campus Saturday where 1,070 students
from 64 middle and high schools participated in the event. Each year students from across Wisconsin and Minnesota compete in events that cover a range of agricultural business, agricultural communications, agricultural

Strategic Plan listening session set for tomorrow
Chancellor Van Galen, in conjunction with the Strategic Planning Coordinating Group, is hosting a listening session on tomorrow, April 3, from 3:30-4:30
p.m. in the Kinnickinnic Theater, UC, to solicit campus feedback on the strategic plan. To date, the components of the strategic plan—including mission, vision, values, goal, initiatives, and metrics—have been approved in draft form by the UWRF Faculty Senate
and the Chancellor. Campus community members may provide feedback on the components of the plan through the strategic planning website at http://www.uwrf.edu/strategicPlan/PathwaytoDistinction.cfm or
by attending the listening session. The UWRF Faculty Senate will be voting on the plan on April 18.
