Now You Know

The UWRF Student Support Services Program and the River Falls Lions Club have partnered to offer the Third Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., at the River Falls High School. This partnership provides the students with leadership opportunities and to network with community members. It also creates a positive impression of UWRF students to the community. Many other community partners have volunteered, including high school and middle school students, Lutheran Home residents, for the event or have made donations to make the Easter Egg Hunt possible. Last year, 300 kids participated and even more are expected this year. Carnival games and craft tables will be available, plus each child will get one free raffle ticket. In addition, the Easter Bunny (SSS Scholar Tracey Meyer) will make an appearance and the Lions Club will have concessions available. Contact Lions Club member Rose.Rude@uwrf.edu.
