Women's hockey team earns spot in NCAA championship tournament


The UWRF women's hockey team celebrates with the O'Brien Cup Trophy Saturday afternoon at Hunt Arena after defeating Adrien College 4-2 The seventh-ranked Falcons, now 23-4-2 overall, won both the NCHA regular season and playoff titles for the third time and earned a spot in the NCAA Championship Tournament for the fifth time in team history. All of the teams selected, and game pairing, will be announced later today by the NCAA.Photo by Kathy M. Feedback needed
The Division of Technology Services is starting the replacement process for the campus network file storage system. Please take this very short survey to provide us with your input. The survey will take approximately five minutes to complete. Your responses will be used to assist Technology Services in the initial stages of selecting a new network file storage system that will replace FalconFile. Special classified exam administration offered on campus
Facilities Management anticipates filling two permanent Custodian-Lead positions within the next six months. Those who are interested in these positions should take the upcoming Custodian-Lead exam. It will be offered on campus on Tuesday, March 13. Preregistration for the exam is required by March 12. Per Wisconsin Administrative Code ER 18.12, classified permanent employees are eligible for and may request up to 16 hours paid leave time for taking up to two promotional examinations during a calendar year.
