"Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving." --W.T. Purkiser

Traditional dinner gives international students taste of U.S. Thanksgiving

More than 60 UWRF international students, including (left to right) Bars Bayer of Turkey, Joyce Huang of Taiwan, Gustavo Cavalheiro of Brazil and JP Frederick of Trinidad, enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving dinner Sunday, hosted in the home of Chancellor Dean and Mary Van Galen. The evening began with the Chancellor providing a brief history of the Thanksgiving tradition in the United States. Several UWRF staff, including Marshall Toman, chair of the Faculty Senate International Programs Committee and his wife, Gretchen, joined the dinner. Submitted photo.
