Now you know

On June 22-23, UW-River Falls will once again host a Minnesota Twins Youth Baseball Camp. Twins Training Camps are open to youth ages 8 to 18. Camps address general baseball skills including hitting, defense, throwing, pitching, strength and conditioning and mental skills. The camp will feature National Baseball Hall of Fame inductee, and St. Paul native, Paul Molitor as a special instructor. More information on the camp may be found on the Minnesota Twins website.

Email workshops held next week

Email workshops will be held next week on campus in the Gray Lab of Chalmer Davee Library. Dates are: May 9, 8:30-9:30 a.m.; May 10, 8:30-9:30 a.m.; May 11, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.; and May 12, 3:15-4:15 p.m.  

Commencement, May 14, 2011 – attention marchers

UW-River Falls will conduct two Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 14.

For those marching in the 9:30 a.m. ceremony (CAFES, CBE and Graduate Studies) the suggested arrival time to Hunt Arena for lining up is 8:45 a.m. For those marching in the 2 p.m. ceremony (CAS and CEPS) the suggested arrival time to Hunt Arena for lining up is 1:15 p.m.

Please remember that parking is a challenge so you will need to adjust your arrival time accordingly. Contact dianne.m.monteith@uwrf.edu if you have any questions.

Falcon Daily will begin its summer schedule next week due to email migration and staff availability. It will publish only on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning May 10 until late August. Please plan accordingly.
