Weeks of Welcome (WOW) kicked off with new student move-in on Sunday and continues through the start of classes on Thursday.

The campus buzzed with excitement Sunday as new first year students moved into the residence halls to begin fall semester classes later this week. Dining Services brochure available
The Fall 2010 Dining Services Faculty and Staff Brochure has now been uploaded to the dining service website found at http://www.uwrf.edu/dining.

Dining Services options Aug. 30-Sept.4
Dining Services encourages faculty and staff to utilize Freddy's C-Store anytime this week. Also, available Wednesday-Friday will be Peregrine Perk, Sub Connection, and St. Croix Grill for your dining pleasure. Please note that Riverside Commons will be very busy at times with start-up activities.

Condolences

Please join the university community in extending our sincere condolences to the family of Brad O. Johnson, age 51, who died Friday, Aug. 27, at home after a long battle with cancer. Brad began his career at UWRF in July 2001 as a LTE maintenance mechanic before  becoming a custodian in Oct. 2001 to present. A memorial gathering for family and friends will be from 2-5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Cashman-Hill Funeral Home, 225 South 3rd St.,  River Falls, followed by a memorial service at 5 p.m. with Reverend Gerd Bents officiating. The family encouraged everyone to wear something camouflage to support Brad's love of  hunting. Online condolences may be expressed at http://www.hillfuneralservice.com.
