Alumni Office seeks events
The Alumni Relations office is developing an alumni schedule of events for 2010-11. If you have an UWRF alumni event scheduled for your group, college, major, etc., please notify melissa.wilson@uwrf.edu in the alumni office so that the event may be included on the alumni calendar of events, posted on the website and included in mailings that are sent to alumni.

Grant opportunity
The Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education program supports innovative grants and cooperative agreements to improve postsecondary education. It supports reforms, innovations, and significant improvements of postsecondary education that respond to problems of national significance and serve as national models. Applications are due July 29. WiTeach segment to air on KARE11
A segment on WiTeach (a leadership program to support students who are pursuing degrees in Teacher Education) at UWRF is scheduled to air on KARE 11 on Thursday, June 17, at approximately 6:20 a.m. It will likely re-air during the 4 p.m. show unless it's bumped for breaking news. The segment also will be on the KARE 11 website at http://www.kare11.com. Click on the "education" tab to find "Cool in School."
