Faculty eager to advise incoming students

The First-Year Experience Office offers New Student Registration daily through June 18. Each program welcomes nearly 160 new students and 300 friends and family members to campus. Each  afternoon advisers meet with new students to discuss degree programs, select classes and register

Board of Regents meeting
The June UW System Board of Regents meeting at UW-Milwaukee
will be Web cast today, June 10, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-2 p.m. and Friday, June 11, from 9 a.m. to noon at http://www.uwex.edu/ics/stream/regents/meetings/. Background information may be found at

UW-River Falls Foundation fiscal year-end procedures
The UWRF Foundation 2009-10 fiscal year ends on June 30. The following types of requests have a deadline date of noon on Friday, June 11.
·   Request for payment (RFP) from a Foundation account to a University account.
·   Request for payment (RFP) from a Foundation account to an outside vendor.
·   Request for transfer (RFT) from one Foundation account to another Foundation account.
Forms may be found at http://www.uwrf.edu/alumni/Fdn-InternalForms.php. The deadline date applies to any outstanding expenses you may need processed for activities completed prior to June 30. Contact ann.k.schwebach@uwrf.edu or at call 3505.

Classified employment transfer opportunity for Facilities Maintenance Specialist-Advanced (100 percent) (Pay Schedule 03, Pay Range 13), Facilities Management, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, annually. The application deadline is 4:30 p.m., Thursday, June 10.
