Now you know
UWRF is an institutional member of the Association for
Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). All members
of our campus can utilize this informative and engaging Web site to
keep current on the evolving landscape of campus sustainability.
Follow these steps:
1. From the AASHE home page, click on member login or follow http://www.aashe.org/members/
memberlogin.php. Click "create new account." Use your campus e-mail
address as your user name. You will receive a password in the inbox of
the e-mail account you used for the user name. Go back to the login
page, enter your e-mail in the user name box and type or paste the
password that was e-mailed to you. That should give you access to all
locked resources. All faculty, staff and students on campus can use
their own e-mail address to create login credentials for themselves. If
you have difficulty with this process, e-mail membership@aashe.org.
2. To subscribe to AASHE Bulletin, a weekly compilation of the latest
sustainability news, resources, events, and opportunities at colleges
and universities in the U.S. and Canada, visit http://www.aashe.org/archives/
bulletin.php (you can read archived issues here), or e-mail info@aashe.org
with a request to be subscribed.
Institutional membership includes access to members-only
resources, discounts to AASHE-sponsored workshops and events, and
opportunities for professional development and networking.

North Hall entry step project underway
Work to repair the exterior entry steps to North
Hall is underway. The project was intended to replace the damaged stone
work and the treads on the steps. After further investigation, however,
it was determined that the foundation was the cause of some of the
problems. Subsequently the demolition became more extensive, and the
footings and foundations replacement for all four entries became a part
of the project. Work is scheduled to be completed within eight weeks
with an expected cost of less than $150,000. Photo by
