Amphitheatre area undergoes improvements

bridge work photo

The approach to the Wall Amphitheatre bridge is being rebuilt this spring with project money available for institutional roads and walks. The old road had deteriorated to the point that it was difficult to maintain for safe use and associated erosion problems. The rebuilt road will provide a practical and appealing "front entry" to the amphitheatre seating renovation project in June. The approach and road will reopen June 1. The amphitheater reconstruction will be throughout the summer but the path to Ramer and intramural fields will remain open. Photo by Jens Gunelson.
